The Atkinson Resort & Country Club has a lovely ambiance and offers a menu that generally delivers good food, but the service lapses can be quite disappointing. While I enjoyed the steak and clam chowder, my overall dining experience was overshadowed by inconsistent service. I also had a wonderful experience celebrating an anniversary here, highlighting how the right occasion can shine in this setting. However, the heavy issues with service cannot be ignored as they greatly affected my experience.

My recent wedding experience at Atkinson was truly heart-wrenching. While the scenery and food were highlights, the service fell drastically short of our expectations, and we faced serious issues regarding allergy preparations. Despite the beautiful setting, I can’t help but feel devastated looking back at our special day that turned into a nightmare.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable, which I appreciated. However, I was really upset when I accidentally left my range finder on the golf course and wasn't allowed to retrieve it. The staff's response left me feeling disappointed, especially after spending a good amount on my round. Overall, while the accommodations were decent, the service experience really impacted my overall enjoyment.

My wedding experience at this venue was pretty average. The place was clean, but there were dirty cups left from a previous event near the picture area, which was a letdown. The lush greenery was nice, but some decorative flowers would have added a special touch. The venue felt chaotic, with busy staff and a DJ that didn't engage the crowd. Overall, it was just okay for the money spent; a bit more decoration and better layout directions would really improve the experience.
